News & Recent Activities
The Knowledge Platform Leefbaar en Kansrijk Groningen organizes knowledge tables, knowledge cafes and knowledge conferences to assemble researchers, residents, professionals, entrepreneurs, and administrators who are involved in generating research and knowledge related to the main themes of the Knowledge Platform. Here you will find news and other information about recent and upcoming activities of the Knowledge Platform.
Due to the coronavirus, many activities cannot take place in their usual form. Where possible, we organize online alternatives. You can often follow these live and watch them back via our website.
Our periodic Knowledge Cafés are accessible to a wide audience from residents to experts. Knowledge is shared in an informal setting and there is the opportunity to network.
Every year we organize a public congress, accessible to a wide audience from residents to experts. Both existing and new knowledge about the Groningen earthquake file is shared. We are organizing this conference in collaboration with the Building and Strengthening Knowledge Platform.
Our knowledge tables are meetings where issues related to the consequences of gas extraction and soil movement are discussed. Participants in the knowledge tables are invited employees of knowledge institutions, civil society organisations, interest groups, governments and companies.
